We received results from the latest round of testing. We tested 640 students, faculty, and staff members and had four positive results. Two were students, one in the sixth grade and one in the 12th grade. We have notified all students that contact tracing identified as being of concern and they have begun their quarantine as well.
One member of our custodial team and one Upper School teacher were also positive. They have also begun their quarantine. There were no indications of further exposure from these employees.
Again, there are no indications of school based spread as there were no connections between persons testing positive.
The medical advisory group will review our response and will make recommendations for future testing based on our results from the first month of school. We will keep you updated.
It appears our efforts are working but let’s be sure to continue masks, social distancing, and avoiding crowded places.
