After each football game, Coach Alexander and his staff have their post-game discussion on the field in a huddle including all parents, family members, alumni, and fans who came to the game. The purpose of this Family Huddle is for the coaches’ messages to be transparent to the football community and keep everyone informed of how the team is working to achieve its goals. The North Cross football program aims to be an inclusive and magnetic community that makes all involved feel cared for and welcome.
Alumni Spring Game
For the past few years, the Varsity football team has competed against a group of alumni in a 7-on-7 passing game. The contest always takes place the day before graduation and features several alumni who are current and former college football players.
Led by Coach Alex Hash, the North Cross Football team participates in at least one community service project or outreach program. In the past, the events have ranged from Salvation Army's Back-2-School event to Eagle Scout service projects to providing Thanksgiving meals for families.
