The NCS Parents' Association manages two year-round fundraisers, the Kroger Cares Gift Card Program and the Great Lakes Scrip (GLSC) Gift Card Program. Neither of these programs requires you to spend any money that wouldn't ordinarily spend!
Kroger Cares Gift Card Program
The Kroger Cares Gift Card Program is simple. The Parents' Association sells $5.00 Kroger Gift Cards that are linked to the North Cross School Parents' Association. Simply load your Kroger Gift Card with additional funds at the Kroger Customer Service desk or right at the register then use your gift card to purchase groceries, gasoline or anything Kroger sells. Kroger rebates five percent of all purchases back to the school!! Cards may be loaded using cash, checks or any credit card, including those that pay you cash back or earn you frequent flyer miles. This makes shopping with your Kroger Gift Card beneficial for everyone.
Great Lakes Scrip Gift Card Program
The second program is the Great Lakes Scrip Gift Card Program (GLSC). A scrip is "substitute money." When you purchase a scrip, you are purchasing gift cards that are used just like cash at retail stores or with online merchants. Each gift card offers a rebate ranging from 1.5% to 16%, and sometimes more. Here is the great part. Parents Association will get half of the rebate from your purchase and the other half will be credited to your student account!! Use the gift cards to purchase things such as clothing, books, gasoline, movie tickets, and more. You can also buy gift cards for your favorite restaurants and hotels. And, of course, gift cards make great gifts! The list of retailers is truly exhaustive.
Below is all the information you need to get started using the this great gift card program.
There are three ways to purchase gift cards:
1) Download an order form and visit www.shopwithscrip.com for a complete list of participating retailers to choose from. Fill out the order form and attached a check made payable to the NCS Parents’ Association for the full amount. Send the order form and check to your child's division secretary. Orders are placed on Mondays and delivered on Fridays in time for your weekend shopping and dining. 2) Go directly to www.shopwithscrip.com. Register your family and designate NCS by entering the NCS code 629F4FLE22958. Shop for your gift cards, place an order and print your receipt. Attach a check for the entire amount made out to the North Cross School Parents’ Association or NCS PA. Turn the receipt and the check into the division secretary. Orders are picked up on Mondays and delivered on Fridays in time for your weekend shopping and dining. 3) Go directly to www.shopwithscrip.com. Register your family and designate NCS by entering the NCS code 629F4FLE22958. Become a PrestoPay customer by entering your bank account information. Once your PrestoPay account is set-up, you may shop for your cards, place your order and make your payment online. Your cards will be delivered to the school on Friday. Each time you place an order with PrestoPay, you will be charged an additional $0.39 convenience fee.
