The North Cross Fund is the most important fundraising endeavor that we have at North Cross School. Tuition and fees alone do not cover the cost of educating each student. Your gifts to the North Cross Fund (unrestricted dollars designated to the annual operating budget) bridge the gap between tuition income and the actual cost of educating each student; thus, we depend on each family and other members of the NCS community to support the School with tax deductible gifts to the North Cross Fund.

The goal for the 2009-10 North Cross Fund is $280,000. Meeting our dollar goal is a main objective each year; but maintaining high levels of participation from alumni, parents, and friends is extremely important as well. Strong participation from the NCS community shows that our constituents believe in the School and the life enhancing opportunities that are provided to our students.

When you contribute to the North Cross Fund, you give a lot more than you might imagine. Your gift supports all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the School, including faculty salaries, library acquisitions, technological advancements, art programs, and school maintenance. Your gift allows North Cross School to continue its long tradition as Roanoke Valley’s premier independent day school, and it will touch the lives of NCS students today and in the future.
