Boosters

The Boosters raise funds that are used to support the School's athletic program. Run by parents, the group's mission is to enhance the athletic environment for all students so they may have a positive, rewarding, and fulfilling athletic experience as part of their overall education at North Cross School.

Boosters volunteers operate admission gates and concessions stands at various athletic events and serve in scorekeeping and other volunteer capacities as needed.

The group also coordinates the Raider Pass program. The Raider Pass is a year-long admission card that admits you to any NCS regular season home athletic event for which admission is charged. (Invitational tournaments, conference, and/or state playoff events are not included.) All NCS families may have a Raider Pass; however, a $35 donation is appreciated to support NCS athletic programs. Donors also receive a Booster Decal indicating their support, and the pass entitles the holder to a 10 percent discount on any NCS spirit wear purchase from Boosters.

2010 - 11 Meeting Dates
Regular meetings are usually held on the first Monday of the months at 7 p.m. in Cartledge multi-purpose room in Ellis Hall (Lower School).  Meetings are open to all parents and sometimes include comments from a speaker. Check e-mail/calendar for location and time variations.

Where the Dollars Go: Past and Future

Boosters fund distribution is determined by "wish list" priorities submitted annually by the NCS Athletic Department and then voted upon by the Boosters Board based upon funds raised. Items are typically discretionary capital needs not covered by the Department's operating budget.
