Please join us in welcoming our newest students, a group of Argentinian students (grades 8-11) who will be studying at North Cross for a seven week period. All of the students are from Corrientes, Argentina, the hometown of Spanish teacher Marianna Hermosilla. Over the next seven weeks, they will take courses in history, sciences, English, and current US affairs, all while becoming more familiar with American culture. They will also assist in all levels of Spanish classes. In order to participate in this program, the students had to demonstrate outstanding academic skills and strong English language skills.
Mrs. Hermosilla and Mr. Robillard, Director of International Programs, are excited to lead this initiative. Their goal is to develop a regular visiting student program to help students become more comfortable with the language and culture of their host country.
