Library Director Amy Holley kicked off the "Tuesdays with a Teacher" series at North Cross yesterday by reviewing the 100 Books Initiative with Lower School parents in Hancock Library.
Amy discussed how the 100 Books Initiative formally recognizes the Lower School’s commitment to fine literature and developing lifelong learners. The list of books was created to provide an overview that will give our families a feel for the richness of the literature available in their children's lives each day here at North Cross. Like our Lower School curriculum, the list represents a variety of subject areas, literary styles, and artistic styles.

Be sure to join Betsy Cook at the Lower School garden on October 13th at 3:00 PM for the second week of “Tuesdays with a Teacher.” Mrs. Cook will be discussing the “Can You Dig It” project that she has been working on with her 4th and 5th grade classes.
