Thursday morning in Fishburn Auditorium, fourth grade students in Mrs. Lawrence and Ms. Cook’s classes delivered PowerPoint presentations to an audience of students, faculty members, and families. Each student started their animal research using books to gather basic information. Amy Holley, Library Director, helped students with computer research and guided them through the process of creating the presentation. Students were able to combine life science learning, use of technology, and develop communication skills in a single project. The fourth grade PowerPoint presentations are among the many projects that require North Cross students to research, analyze, write, and present their findings.
