What’s your passion here? What motivates you to do what you do? My passion would absolutely be my NCS family, including students, teachers, staff, and parents! Every day I look forward to my interactions with them all! Even though name is typically synonymous with whatever current disaster or emergency is at hand, I feel no less a part of it. My motivation is making this a great place to be.
What is one thing the North Cross community doesn't know about you? Probably, people don't know that I love art; but more then just art, the passion of why or how it was created. Growing up I wanted to be an artist and actually became very good at it. Unfortunately, I started focusing more on drafting and architecture and finally building and mechanical. But whenever I have a chance, it's always nice to just sit back and create something.
Who do you consider as your mentor, and what have you learned from them? That would have to be my dad, Lloyd Lee. He has always been a great role model and dad with an unforgiving work ethic and sense of family pride and faith.
What's your favorite North Cross tradition? That would be a tossup between Christmas bonfire watching the younger kids interacting with Santa or graduation, seeing the pride and happiness in one’s accomplishment and hard work.
If you didn't do what you do here, what else would you be doing? Well that’s a very good question. Most likely I would start flipping homes again since it was always fun and exciting making something look new again.I love working with my hands and tinkering with things so something at least in the building, I have always wanted to learn about log home construction so maybe something there.
