What’s your passion here? What motivates you to do what you do? I admire the devotion and commitment from our faculty and staff who work to make NCS such a wonderful place for our students and their families. My motivation comes from my desire to support their efforts and provide an excellent NCS experience for all of us.
Who do you consider as your mentor, and what have you learned from them? My father was my mentor. He had a PhD in Chemistry and always emphasized the importance of an education. He taught me that my education was something that no one could ever take from me and that it would provide the means to take care of myself financially. In hindsight, it is ironic that while I pursued a graduate degree in finance and obtained a CPA, my livelihood is still tied to education through my career at NCS.
What's your favorite North Cross tradition? One of my favorite NCS traditions is the international dinner, sponsored by the world language department. It brings the school community together for a fabulous buffet of multi-cultural foods while students present an educational and entertaining program.
If you didn't do what you do here, what else would you be doing? I would volunteer for non-profit organizations and help small businesses with their accounting and financial needs.
