What's one thing we might not know about you?
I was born in Washington, D.C. but was a Belgian citizen as my father was a diplomat with the Belgian Embassy. French was my first language. I became a U.S. citizen after I had children.
What’s your passion here? What motivates you to do what you do?
My co-workers are very supportive and fun to work with and the parents are wonderful to work for! There is never a dull moment here!
I loved so many books it’s hard to pick just one but I did have a favorite poem “Annabel Lee” by Edgar Allan Poe. The way my English teacher read the poem in class made it stand out for me.
Who do you consider as your mentor, and what have you learned from them?
Karen has taught me so much about accounting and what can be accomplished when a department is organized!
When you're listening to music, who's playing?
If you didn't do what you do, what would you be doing instead?
I would go back to owning a pet-sitting business again.
Do you have a particular North Cross memory that stands out? What's your favorite North Cross tradition?
I enjoy seeing what the Senior gifts add to the campus every year!
If you could say something to the students here at North Cross, what would you say?
Make the most of your opportunity here at North Cross! Hold yourself to the highest standard possible, work hard, commit to a sport, and no sex, drugs, or alcohol!
