"...If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;..."
- Excerpt from "If" by Rudyard Kipling
Today lower school students completed their eight day SEAD project that was done in conjunction representatives of the Institute for Creativity, Art, and Technology (ICAT) and the Center for the Arts at Virginia Tech. The eight days of collaborative workshops were designed to emphasize the importance of incorporating arts, creativity and design into STEM curriculum and programs.
As part of the process, senior students from Virginia Tech were on campus to create a 360-degree video documentary of the process to display at Virginia Tech’s ICAT Day on May 2 in Blacksburg. The VT seniors worked with North Cross students to develop experience profiles, so that when a person visits the exhibit on ICAT Day, he or she can engage with a student profile to get a first-hand perspective of the experience.
