Earlier this week, Jordan Lowery ’16 was featured in the PROSPECTS section of virginiapreps.com. A subscription is required to view the post, so we have provided the text below.
Senior Jordan Lowery (5-foot-11, 190) has been a starter all four years for North Cross. He plays both wide receiver and cornerback but his primary position is receiver where he has recorded 30 career touchdowns receptions. His freshman year started with a bang as he led the Old Dominion Conference in receptions (39) and receiving yards (603).
"Jordan embodies so much of what we want a North Cross student to be," North Cross head coach Stephen Alexander said. "He has taken one of the toughest academic schedules North Cross offers during his high school career, yet he still finds the time to dedicate himself to becoming a better football player. Jordan had a fantastic 2014 season, and somehow he is still one of our most improved players in 2015. That is a testament to his work ethic and focus."
Lowery has an Ivy league offer from Cornell as well as interest from Yale, Bucknell, Lehigh, William & Mary, and Campbell.
