In addition, as you may have noticed above, I am pleased to introduce Raider, our new puppy, who came to us this past weekend. He's getting the lay of the land, and is a quick learner, already having gone out to carpool to solicit attendees to this year's disco gala and auction. More exciting, one of our auction items is Raider’s sister, also a black lab born on Martin Luther King Day. Raider also paid a visit to CrossWalk to play with some new friends (two- and four-legged, alike).
Let me also put out a second invitation to attend Studio 540, our annual gala and auction. I know the price tag is more than the usual night out but it is always a great time. The band is awesome, food is delicious, libations are available, and you have a chance to see fellow North Cross parents in an environment different from the carpool line. I know time is limited, but reach out to the Development Office to get some tickets.
And finally, we have put the finishing touches on our major dates for the 2017-2018 school year. No real changes from this year’s calendar but I know there are folks trying to schedule that last beach week in August. Hope this helps the early planners.
