National Language Exams are given yearly to thousands of public and independent school students in the United States and overseas. These language exams cover grammar, culture, reading and listening comprehension, history, and overall vocabulary. They become progressively more challenging at each level. Outstanding achievement is recognized at both state and national levels based on a student’s overall score and ranking.
To receive a Certificat de Reussite, a student must place in the top 50 % in national competition.
To receive a Certificat d’Honneur, a student must place in the top 30 % in national competition.

To receive the designation of Laureat du Chapitre, a student must place in top 10 % of the Nation. Finally, to receive a Laureat medal, a student must place in the top 8% of the nation.

Good Citizenship Awards are presented by a representative of the local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution to one student in each grade who displays the qualities of honor, service, courage, leadership, and patriotism, as determined by the faculty of the middle school.
